Whatsapp Introduces Voice And Video Calling Feature On Desktop Version

And obviously, It’s gonna be WhatsApp, because texting someone offline is outdated in the Era of the Internet.

Facebook-owned Whatsapp doesn’t work offline. But all thanks to Internet Evolution in India, because of this, Whatsapp has reached every door and discarded the Offline practise of messaging.

This instant messaging app always surprises us every time it introduces new features.

And this time it has stunned us the moment we heard this news of Whatsapp Voice and Video Calling feature going to be accessible for the desktop version. Needless to say, this feature is a need of an hour as the Covid-19 surge imposed a work from home system. Wherein we connect with others for Video calls on Zoom, Google Meet, etc.

To challenge competitors and make Whatapp users video and voice calling convenient, it has rolled this feature on March 4, to helps its users connect with their Clients, Boss, Colleagues or Friend through a computer device.

Who can use this feature?

Facebook-owned Whatsapp was enthusiastic about this new feature, just to notice its users base happy. On 4th March, It made announced that this desktop-friendly app is available for both Windows and Mac. However, it will support only on Windows 10 64-bit 1903 and above, and macOS 10.13 and newer and there is no confirmation yet for other systems.

How to Enable this Feature?

As this is an online messaging app, you will need good speed internet on your computer to use this. Whatsapp App should have been installed on your computer and you will have to allow it for voice calling and webcam accessibility.

Ensure you have an audio output device and microphone connected to your computer for calls. So that other person doesn’t get an overwhelming experience. Open the chat with whom you want to connect for voice or video calling and enjoy the experience.
