Yami Gautam Urges People To Stay Home To Prevent Spread Of COVID-19

Mumbai: Actor Yami Gautam urged people to stay in their homes and also shared some precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The actor shared a short video of his public service announcement about precautions to be taken towards COVID-19.

“I request all my brothers and sisters in this country that you stay in your homes, stay clean, maintain social distance and maintain a fear-free environment,” she said in the video.

“If a parcel or anything else comes into your house, please wash it and wash your hands even after touching it. If you have to get out of the house in any unavoidable situation, please cover your nose and mouth. Use alcohol-based hand sanitiser and sanitise your hands with it repeatedly,” the ‘Vicky Donor’ actor added.

She urged people to get coronavirus testing done if they experience any symptoms.

“If you experience any symptoms of coronavirus in yourself or any other person, please check yourself and advise the other person as well. Let’s all fight this coronavirus together.”

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 3374 in India on Sunday, as per the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
