6 Killed, 4 Injured As SUV Collides With LPG Cylinder-Laden Truck In Bihar

Mumbai: At least six people were killed and four others were critically injured after an SUV collided with an LPG cylinder-laden truck in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district on Tuesday, as per reports.

Six people were killed and five were injured when a truck loaded with LPG cylinders collided with a truck near Pipra village this morning, news agency ANI reported. They were returning from a funeral in Patna when the incident happened.

However, the driver of the truck and his assistant managed to escape from the spot.

The victims, including two women, were returning from Patna to their native village Jamui.

Halsi Circle Officer Vivek Kumar told IANS that the process of identifying the victims is underway.

“Since the SUV has been badly damaged due to the loud collision, we are using iron cutters to retrieve the bodies. The injured have been taken to the Sadar Hospital,” he said.
