With 354 New Cases, India’s COVID-19 Count Goes Up To 4,421
Mumbai: The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday that the total number of coronavirus positive cases in the country has risen to 4,421, with 354 new cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths in the last 24 hours.
Joint Secretary Lav Aggarwal said, “A total of 4,421 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in India so far as 354 new cases have been reported since yesterday. A total of 117 deaths have been reported so far including 8 deaths reported since yesterday.”
Aggarwal further said that till now 326 people have been discharged after curing the infection, a strategy for cluster prevention is being adopted by connecting the government.
“This strategy is giving positive results, especially in Agra, Gautam Buddhist Nagar, Pathanamthitta, Bhilwara and East Delhi,” Aggarwal said.
