3 New COVID-19 Cases In Dharavi; Tally Reaches 3,626

Mumbai: A Dharavi official said that Dharavi on Wednesday reported three new COVID-19 cases, which were 3,626 due to infection in Mumbai’s slum area.

The COVID-19 hotspot once found two new coronavirus cases in Slum on Tuesday.

The official said that the number of active COVID-19 cases in Dharavi remained unchanged at eight.

The official said that out of the total 3,626 cases registered so far, 3,307 patients have been recovered.

Dharavi, which is spread over an area of ​​2.5 sq km and houses about 6.5 lakh people, was first reported on April 1 with a coronavirus case.

It later emerged as a major COVID-19 hotspot in the city, before successfully bringing matters under control with coordinated efforts by various stakeholders.
