Actor Alok Nath Files Defemation Case Against Vinta Nanda

Mumbai :  As the #Metoo Movement has took its pace in India, many well known celebrities has been alleged for sexual harassment, whereas a week before Vinta Nanda writer and TV producer alleged well known actor Alok Nath that Nath sexually harassed and raped her in 90s.

Now the actor Nath has filed a defamation case against Vinta Nanda. This  comes less than a week after Nanda narrated her story on facebok saying “I hadn’t just been raped I was taken to my own house and had been brutalised”

In 90s Nanda was the writer and producer of well know Teleserial ‘Tara’ in which Alok Nath played an lead role.

After the allegations IFTDA, Indian Film Television Director Association has issued an notice to the actor seeking his stand on the rape allegations made against him.

The #Metoo movement took its pace after the Tanushree Dutta accused actor Nana Patekar for harassment.
