Actress Says She Was Forced To Shoot Porn; Gehana, 3 Producers From Kundra’s Firm Booked

Mumbai: Mumbai Police have filed an FIR based on a complaint by an actress, who alleged she was forced to shoot porn for businessman Raj Kundra’s app. Police have booked three producers from Kundra’s company and actress Gehana Vasisth in connection with the case.

A female actress has alleged that she was forced to shoot porn for the Hotshots app. After this, a case has been registered against the producer and actress Gehana Vasisth have been booked. This comes after Raj Kundra was sent to 14 days of judicial custody for a magistrate court on Tuesday in the sensational porn sex racket.

An actress approached the police and alleged that she was forced to shoot a pornographic film for the Hotshots app, following which the crime branch’s property cell registered a case at Malwani police station on Tuesday.

The First Information Report (FIR) was registered under various Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including 420 (cheating), 392 (punishment for dacoity), 393 (attempt to commit robbery), and provisions of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act and the Information Technology Act, the official added.

Raj Kundra, the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the crime branch on July 19 in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through apps.

He said that during the investigation it came to light that some small actors were lured by giving breaks in web series or short stories.

The officer had said that these actors were called for auditions and were asked to give “bold” scenes, which later turned out to be semi-nude or nude scenes, which were against the will of the actors, the official had said.

He said that during the investigation it was also found that many porn-related apps were running in the cyber world.

The police then arrested producer Roma Khan, her husband, actress Gehana Vashishth, director Tanveer Hashmi and Umesh Kamath (who used to look after India operations of Kundra”s firm), he had said. At least 11 persons have been arrested so far in the case, according to the police.
