Mumbai: On Tuesday Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav claimed that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) across the country are malfunctioning. He alleged it as “criminal negligence”.
He tweeted saying, “EVMs across India malfunctioning or voting for the BJP. DMs say poll officials untrained to operate EVMs. 350+ being replaced. This is criminal negligence for a polling exercise that costs 50,000 crores.

116 parliamentary constituency will have poll both today on 3rd out 7 phase of Lok Sabha elections that includes 13 states and 2 Union territory.
From April 11, 7-phase Lok Sabha polls are been started. 69.45% turned across the country during the first phase while in the second phase on April 18, 69 43% of people cast their vote.
On May 23, results will be declared.
