Akshay Kumar To Work As Brand Ambassador Of Uttarakhand: CM Dhami

Mumbai: Ahead of the Uttarakhand Assembly elections, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has confirmed that actor Akshay Kumar will work as the brand ambassador of the state.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami met Akshay Kumar and said that the state government had approached him with a proposal, which was later accepted.

We had given him (Akshay Kumar) a proposal, he has accepted it. He will also work as a brand ambassador of Uttarakhand,” CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, news agency ANI quoted.

Akshay Kumar met Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence in Dehradun on Monday morning.

Uttarakhand is slated to go to the polls on February 14. The results for the Uttarakhand Assembly elections will be announced on March 10.
