All Religions Preach Humanity: Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai

Mumbai: Addressing the farewell for Haj pilgrims, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said all religions preach humanity and appealed to them to pray for peace in the country.

The pilgrims are set to board the first flight for Haj Pilgrimage-2022 today.

“The one who completes the Haj pilgrimage becomes a Haji when he returns to lead a holy life. Only then the pilgrimage is considered worthwhile. Where there is a virtue, God will be there,” Bommai said.

He appealed to the pilgrims to pray for peace and prosperity in the country during the pilgrimage.

Around 450 pilgrims are leaving for Haj by the first flight from Bangalore.

Wakf Board President Maulana Shafi Sadi, Haj Committee President Raufuddin Kachrewale, Minorities Commission Chairman Abdul Azeem and others were present.
