Attacks On Processions Designed Way To Divide Country: JP Nadda

Mumbai: BJP National President JP Nadda on Sunday said that the Congress party is behaving in the most irresponsible manner. Nadda is on a two-day visit to Karnataka. Addressing party workers in Hospet, the BJP President said that the attack on the Ram Navami procession is a well-planned way to divide the country.

He said, “You must have seen the attack on the Ram Navami procession or any other place. It is the matter of (Karnataka) Chief Minister Bommai. He will look into these matters and their details. But I can say it’s a designed way to divide the country. And I am sad to say that the Congress party is behaving in the most irresponsible manner,” Nadda said.

The BJP chief also claimed that former Congress chief minister Siddaramaiah helped some members of the PFI, an extremist Islamist organisation, come under scrutiny for their role in attacks on procedures in several states. Hitting out at the Congress, Nadda said, “You speak against terrorism and spare terrorists.

There have been some incidents of communal flare-ups in Karnataka in recent months. It started with loudspeakers in mosques during hijab, then halal meat and azan.

The Congress and 12 other parties on Saturday targeted the BJP for the recent communal clashes.

Today BJP President said that corruption and Congress are synonymous. “Where there is BJP there is a mission, where there is Congress there is a commission. Corruption and Congress are two sides of the same coin,” he said.

“For the first time in the North East, we had a coalition government, this time our BJP government has come. Seeing these results, some people have become stunned by politics and their fury somewhere gets mixed with conspiracies to disintegrate the society. Somewhere there is an attack on the procession,” Nadda said.
