BEST Bus Crashes Into Dumper In Mumbai’s Dadar, 8 Injured; Video Surfaces

Mumbai: At least eight people were injured after a BEST bus crashed into a dumper truck in Mumbai’s Dadar area on Wednesday morning. A video showed the bus hitting the dumper truck from behind.

The injured included three women passengers and the driver and conductor of a bus operated by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking.

The incident took place this morning when the bus (Route No. 22) was going from Marol in South Mumbai to Pydhonie.

A speeding BEST bus collided with a dumper truck installed on the traffic signal on Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road at around 7.15 am. Due to the collision, a passenger standing at the door of the bus fell on the road, while the other passengers jumped out.

Meanwhile, the official said that all the eight injured passengers have been admitted to the Municipal Corporation-run Sion Hospital.
