Ekta Kapoor Suspends Work At Balaji Productions Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
Mumbai: Amid the outbreak of producer Corota, Ekta Kapoor announced that she had suspended all administrative and production operations of Balaji Telefilms Limited, Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and ALTBalaji. In a statement posted on his official Twitter account.
Ekta said that the safety and well-being of the company’s employees, cast and crew is of paramount importance to them.
“After the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, all administrative and production operations at Balaji Telefilms Ltd, Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and ALTBalaji are suspended until further notice.
The statement said, “We are following all security and precautionary measures to suggest the government to help the situation. We are confident that we will show our resilience together and return we remain safe from all and urge to ensure necessary health measures.”

India has registered 126 positive cases including 22 foreign nationals. So far, three people in Karnataka, Delhi and Maharashtra – have lost their lives infected by the virus. The virus, which originated in Wuhan city of China, killed more than 7,000 people and infected more than 175,530 people from 145 countries.
