‘Go, Cross LoC, Calculate Bombardment Casualty In Balakot’, Rajnath Singh To Opposition

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said during a public meeting at Jhagrapar stadium in Dhubri, Assam on Tuesday, “According to the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), an Indian technical agency, has said that 300 Indian Air Force Mobile phones were active (IAF) bomb blast.

Congress and other parties have been asking about the evidence about the destruction caused by IAF at Balakot which is the largest training centre of Jaish-e-Muhammad. Hitting at oppositions Union Minister Rajnath Singh said to cross the Indo-Pak border go to Pakistan and do the calculation of the casualty.

Singh said, “If our Congress friends need numbers, I would ask them to move towards Pakistan and count the death numbers of terrorists which were killed by IAF pilots.” He asked, “Should our Pilots in IAF had Airstrikes and counted the casualty? What Kind of drama this is?

“Was the trees in Balakot were using those mobile phones?’ he evidently said replying to the global media which says that IAF had missed the target. He added asking, “Will you now say that we don’t believe on NTRO?”

On Monday, ANI, the news agency quoted unnamed people at NTRO that it’s intelligence showed shortly before the air strike on February 26 by IAF that there were 300 mobile phones active at JeM training centre was IAF targeted.

Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Tuesday that IAF airstrike, to be ‘not a military action’ as there was no casualty to civilians. Foreign minister, Vijay Gokhale has not given any damage number of the Balakot air strike neither he had given any statement’, Minister Nirmala had added.

A week before, Vijay Gokhale, Foreign Secretary had said that the non-military strike on Balakot killed a ‘huge number of terrorists’, high ranking commanders and trainers.

Whereas, The BJP Chief Amit Shah has said the number of death casualties in Balakot as 250.
