Goa Assembly Election 2022: TMC Nowhere In Race Says , Arvind Kejriwal

Mumbai: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said AAP is BJP’s only rival in Goa and Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress is nowhere in the race and still does not have even one per cent of the vote in the coastal state.

Addressing reporters in Panaji, Kejriwal said that you can give a lot of importance to TMC but I don’t think it is standing anywhere in the race.

“I think TMC doesn’t even have 1% vote share yet. Came to Goa only 3 months ago, democracy doesn’t work like this. You need to work hard and you need to work among the people.”

On Tuesday, AAP’s national convener promised a corruption-free government if voted to power.

“People of Goa have tried Congress for 27 years, MGP and BJP for 15 years. This time Goa should give you a chance and the people of Goa will see a clear difference.”

Goa deserves better politicians and AAP is the only hope, the Delhi Chief Minister said.

He said that we do not understand politics, we only know how to work and you have come here to bring change and clean up the dirty politics that is fed up with the people of Goa.

Over the last few months, several prominent politicians from the Goa Congress including former chief minister Luizinho Faleiro jumped ships to join the TMC.

On Monday, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee’s working president Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco became the latest MLA to quit the party and join TMC.
