Hrithik-Tiger Starrer ‘WAR’ Breaks Record In It’s Opening Day Collection

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer film ‘WAR’ is set to create a new box office collection in its first day itself.

The film which hit the theatres on 2nd October has recorded the highest opening ever opening day collection for a Bollywood film.

As per Boxoffice India report the film has collected a total of 51.50 Crore in its first day itself.  Opening box office collection has beaten records of Thugs Of Hindustan, despite being released on lesser screens.

‘War’ released across 3850 plus screens in Hindi and was also released in Tamil and Telugu.

Well, the collection may drop down in the southern region of India as the film may get tough competition with Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Sye Naa Narasimha Reddy, which was also released on 2nd of October.

Directed by Siddarth Anand, under the banner of Yash Raj Films it also stars Vani Kapoor in the lead role. The film follows an Indian soldier who is assigned to eliminate his former mentor, who had gone rogue. The film has got a positive response from the critics.
