IAF Accelerates Efforts To Find Missing ‘AN-32

Mumbai: Indian Air Force has discovered that it has sharpened their search for AN missing A-32 Jet, which is far from radar for three days. The IAF today issued a statement in which it had written, “The IAF has intensified efforts to detect the missing AN-32.

Despite the challenges arising from vegetation, inaccessible terrain and bad weather, the search has been expanded. All clues from the air sensors are being closely monitored and searched by aircraft and ground teams. “

AN 23 aircraft of Indian Air Force flew from Jorhat of Assam at 12.27 hrs. Contact breaks from Monday afternoon at 1:30 am for the Mechuka Advanced Landing Ground, which is located in China’s Shi-Yomi district of Arunachal Pradesh.

On Tuesday, the Indian Navy’s long-range maritime reconnaissance aircraft P8i conducted an aerial survey to detect partially advanced AN-32 aircraft.

On Wednesday, the IAF pressed SU-30 jet fighter, C130J, Mi17, and ALH helicopters in service to detect the missing transporter aircraft of Russian origin.

This discovery was taking place between dense forests between Jorhat of Assam and Mechuka Advanced Landing Ground in Arunachal Pradesh.

Apart from this, the Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Arunachal Police, and local communities are tracking the ground for the discovery of missing aircraft.

Satellites of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) – Cartosat and Reset were also taking photos of the area. Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal RD Mathur are monitoring the search and rescue operations. He also interacted with the families of missing Indian Air Force personnel.
