“It Is So Hard To Leave-Until You Leave,” Sumona Chakrawarthy As She Quits Smoking

Mumbai: Sumona who is famous for her character as Bhuri in the Kapil Sharma show, revealed being a cigarette addict in her Instagram post. The actress explained on her Instagram post how she felt about quitting smoking.

While writing in the caption she said, it was difficult but once the habit was gone she has never felt better before, and now her body to rejects smoke. She quoted a John Greene quote with respect to leaving the habit behind, “It is so hard to leave- until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world.”

“2 Years Ago! the week following a dear friend’s bday… I QUIT. Simply went cold turkey. No nicotine patch, no vape. Nothing. Haven’t touched since then. Was it difficult, hell yeah? But now my body rejects smoke. Cant stand in a room where people are smoking anymore…” She said.

Sumona feels that as an actor people watch her, admire, criticize her and that she is sharing her life story so that she could inspire some people. In her caption, she said, “Why am I sharing this? Because being an actor is a part of my life. People follow us. Like us. Love us. Criticise us. Admire us. Hopefully, with this, I can inspire a few. The most important reminder being we are all flawed human beings which are quite non-existent on social media. So here’s a small dose of reality,”
