‘Jawan’ Enters ₹100-Crore Club In India In 2 Days

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawan’ has crossed the ₹100-crore mark at the domestic box office in two days. Directed by Atlee, the film has been receiving praise from critics, celebrities as well as fans. 

Early estimates show that Jawan made 53 crore net on its second day in India for all languages, according to Sacnilk.com. The film made 74.5 crore on Thursday. In Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the movie made 65.5 crore, 5.3 crore, and 3.7 crore respectively. In India, the movie has so far made a total of 127.50 crore.

Shah Rukh pens note

Reacting to fans’ positive response after watching Jawan, Shah Rukh shared a note on X (formerly known as Twitter). He wrote, “Thank you for all the love and appreciation for #Jawan!! Stay safe and happy… Please keep sending in the pics and videos of all of you enjoying at the movies…. And I will be back soon to see all of them! Until then… Party with Jawan in the theatres!! Lots of love and gratitude!”

The film was released in theatres on Thursday. Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are seen in cameo appearances.
