Kangana Ranaut Lashes Out As Social Media Goes Viral On Dialogue Similarity In Manikarnika And Mohenjo Daro

Pune : Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting her upcoming movie “Manikarnika” these days. Also, Kangana is very much famous for her straight forward behaviour and statements towards strong topics like Metoo and other social issues. In an event, Kangana again took a dig at Hrithik Roshan.

In fact, after the release of the film trailer, people started comparing it with “Mohanjo-Daro” of Hrithik. It was being said that the dialogue Kangna has spoken in the “Manikarnika”, dialogue has been copied from “Mohanjo-Daro”.

The dialogue was, “Jhansi aap bhi chahte hai aur mein bhi, fark sirf itna hai, aapko raj karna hai, aur mujhe apno ki seva”, now listening to Mohenjo Daro version, “Antar hai Maham, tu Mohenjo Daro pe raaj karna chahta hai aur main seva.” After that it was presumed that both films are same and hence Manikarnika will also flop.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror on this, Kangana Ranaut targeted Hrithik Roshan mentioning, “Who saw the movie?”. She further added, “We do not want to talk about it anymore. If you want to talk to Hrithik’s fans on this, then they can go ahead with the debate.”

Also this is not the first time Kangana has rhetoric against Hrithik. Producer Kamal Jain also stated, “First and foremost, you can’t have a copyright on one dialogue and that’s a very general comment. BJP politicians say the same dialogue everywhere on the stage that  humko raj karna hai. It’s not his dialogue. I would have understood that if the whole film was copied, one dialogue can never copyright. It’s a very common phrase.”

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai. Rani Laxmibai blew up the independence of India and the rebellion of 1857 against the British. Kangana Ranaut is seen in the role of Lakshmi Bai in the film. This film will be a collision with Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s “Thackeray”.
