Kannada Actor Puneeth Rajkumar Passes Away Aged 46 Due To Heart Attack

Mumbai: Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away aged 46 today due to a heart attack. He was admitted to a Bengaluru hospital after suffering a heart attack at around 11.30 am.

Puneet was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru this morning following chest pain. However, there is no official confirmation of Puneet’s death from the hospital yet.

Son of matinee idol Rajkumar, Puneeth is fondly called ‘Appu’ by his fans. He started his career as a child artist with his father in the early 1980s. ‘ Raam’, ‘Hudugaru’, and ‘Anjani Putra’ are some of his memorable movies. He was last seen in ‘Yuvarathnaa’, which was released early this year
