Amit Shah & Wife Sonal Own Assets Worth ₹66 Crore, Home Minister Doesn’t Own A Car

Mumbai: Union Minister Amit Shah presented his candidacy documents to the district election officer of Gandhinagar.

Shah, the second-in-command in the Modi government and a former head of the BJP, stated in his nomination that his total assets as of 2024 were valued at Rs. 36 crore.

According to Shah’s affidavit, he has disclosed cash assets of just Rs. 24,000 and does not possess a car.

Shah has revealed that his immovable assets are worth Rs 16 crore and his movable assets are worth Rs 20 crore. His wife has jewels valued at Rs 1.10 crore, while he has stated a value of Rs 72 lakh.

Sonal Shah, Amit Shah’s wife, is worth more than Rs 31 crore. Her mobile assets are worth Rs 22.46 crore, and her immovable assets are worth Rs 9 crore.  

Shah’s affidavit states that the total value of his and his wife’s assets is Rs 65.67 crores. With a value of Rs 30.49 crore in 2019, the amount had doubled in the previous five years.  

The Home Minister has a personal loan of Rs 15.77 lakh, while his wife has a loan of Rs 26.32 lakh, per the affidavit.  

Amit Shah declared an annual income of Rs 75.09 lakh for the fiscal year 2022–2023, while his wife’s income was Rs 39.54 lakh.

His income comes from a variety of sources, including his MP pay, rental income from homes, revenue from his farm, and dividends and shares.  

In the declaration, Amit Shah identified himself as a social worker and farmer. He said that three criminal cases had been filed against him.

In the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which will take place on May 7, 2024, all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat will be put to vote. On June 4, 2024, the results for all 543 seats across the nation will be announced.
