KGF Chapter 2 First Look Is Out, Sanjay Dutt To Play As Adheera?

Mumbai: The fans were eagerly awaiting any updates about the sequel to KGF Chapter 1 and today the makers decided to have a treat with them. A teaser poster of KGF Chapter 2 dropped online before today and got a stir on social media.

There is a glimpse of character impatience without revealing much in the poster.

While there is no name for any actor in the poster, fans are speculating that it will be played by Sanjay Dutt. The fact is that the character will be exposed on July 29, Sanjay’s birthday is another giveaway, as the date marks Sanjay’s birthday.

KGF: Chapter 2. There are rumours that Raveena Tandon will also be part of the film.

Yash has earlier said that the second part is going to be bigger than the first chapter in terms of budget and stunts.

Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, the film released last year and gained immense popularity. The Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 1 even pipped some Bollywood films as far as box-office figures are concerned.

However, critics gave the film mixed reviews; while they praised the cinematography, art direction and background score on the film, the screenplay and editing were criticized. The film performed well commercially and collected ₹76 crore four days into release, in the process breaking the record for the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time.

KGD Chapter 1 around Raja Krishnappa Bairya “Rocky”, born into poverty, who arrives in Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 1960s, on a quest for power and wealth as desired by his dying mother. Involved with the gold mafia there, he is recruited to kill Garuda, the oppressive heir-in-waiting, in Kolar Gold Fields. Yash stars as Rocky, while Ramachandra Raju features as Garuda. Anant Nag narrates the film while also playing a supporting role alongside Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Ayyappa P. Sharma and Harish Rai.
