‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ Talks About Importance Of Sex Education,” Sonakshi Sinha
Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha is all set for her upcoming film “Khandaani Shafakhana” directed by Shilpi Das Gupta.
The film revolves around a woman who inherits a sex clinic from her uncle.
“We consider ourselves a modern society, but we hesitate to talk about sex, if you preach, then people do not pay attention. You have to keep it in a way that is understandable.
Sonakshi told reporters here, “We have told it is a good, funny and entertaining manner. The director behaved with this sensitivity very much, it, which should be presented in schools.”
Sharing similar thoughts, the film rapper-actor Badshah told his co-star that it is important to provide sex education.
“I think family planning should be … we are a country of 130 million people. Our resources are ending and we should think about family planning.”
Producer Mrigadip Singh Lamba said, “At a certain age, we should talk about this subject and this is also the lowest line of our film.”
“Khandaani Shafakhana” is set to release on August 2 with Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra’s “Jabariya Jodi” but the team is not concerned about the box office clash.
Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor, Nadira Babbar and Kulbhushan Kharbanda are also a part of the cast.
The film is co-produced by Sundial Pictures and T-Series
