K’taka CM H D Kumaraswamay Informes About Indians Affected In Sri Lanka Terror Blasts

Mumbai: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy informed that he has spoken to High Commissioner in Sri Lanka in Colombo to enquire in regards of people from Karnataka who died or got injured in the 8 serial terror blasts on Sunday.

Karnataka CM had requested the official to bring the mortal of deceased at earliest in the state.

He tweeted saying, “I spoke to the Indian HighCommission @IndiainSL today and enquired about the situation with regard to people from Ktka who were injured in the #TerrorAttack. I have requested them to speed up the process of bringing the mortal remains of the deceased to the state at the earliest”.

External Minister Sushma Swaraj On Monday has informed that the process for identification of Indians amidst killed is underway.

Swaraj tweeted, “I have just spoken to Taranjit S.Sandhu Indian High Commissioner in Colombo @IndiainSL. We are identifying Indians amongst those killed in the blasts. Please get in touch with Indian High Commission for any help on Phone No. +94777903082, +94112422788, +94112422789”.

Among 290 who were killed, 10 were Indians. The blast injured around 500 people.
