Kuldeep Sengar To Be Shifted To Tihar Jail, Rape Survivor Recovering
Mumbai: On Monday, 5th August, Delhi’s Tus Hazari court ordered the expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and co-accused Shashi Singh to be shifted to Delhi’s Tihar jail. Both are to be produced before the court on 7th August.
The Supreme Court directed the Unnao rape survivor and her lawyer to be shifted from Lucknow to AIIMS in New Delhi for treatment
On 28th of July, a car carrying the Unao rape survivor, her aunts and lawyer was hit by a truck in Raebareli. Both her aunts were killed and the victim and her lawyer were critically injured in the collision.
A CRPF personnel has reached three KJMU hospital to airlift the Unnao rape survivor for undertaking further treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. The survivor’s family has also reached the trauma centre at KJMU.
On Monday, both the accused were presented before sessions judge Dharmesh Sharma.
According to the medical bulletin shared by the King George’s Medical University on Monday, “there has been an improvement in the health of the female patient “ and both the Unao rape survivor and her lawyer are “critical but stable “ and the male patient is breathing without ventilator support and is in a deep coma.”
“I was a BJP Karyakarta… whichever party I worked for I worked with complete honesty. I have trust in everyone, Everything is a political conspiracy. I pray to God that she gets well.” Said the rape accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar.
The Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadhav has announced statewide protest on 9th August to call attention to the worsening law and Order situation in Uttar Pradesh.
