Lord Krishna Tells Me In Dreams That I’ll Establish ‘Ram Rajya’: Akhilesh Yadav

Mumbai: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has claimed that Lord Krishna comes to his dreams every night to tell him that he would form the government and establish “Ram Rajya” in Uttar Pradesh after the Assembly polls.

Mr. Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, made this claim in a light-hearted manner during a function organized to induct BJP MLA Madhuri Verma from Bahraich in his party.

Ms. Verma is the second time MLA from the Kurmi caste. She was also a member of the UP Legislative Council from 2010 to 2012.

Prasanna Yadav, sitting BJP MLA from Nanpara assembly seat in Bahraich district, said that he is on the way to forming the government in Uttar Pradesh.

“The way to Ram Rajya is through the path of Samajwad (socialism). The day samajwad is established, the “Ram Rajya” will be set up in the state,” the SP president said.

He went on to add, “Lord Sri Krishna comes to my dreams every night to tell me that our government is coming up (in UP).” He also claimed that the Yogi Adityanath government has “failed” in the state.

Referring to the election campaign of a large number of BJP leaders in Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Yadav referred to the infamous practice of parents of some students trying to force their children to resort to unfair means in some states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

And then terming Yogi Adityanath as chief minister a failure, Mr. Yadav likened the electoral efforts of BJP leaders to the efforts of parents of students to help a “failed” Mr. Adityanath win the UP election.

Responding to the BJP’s allegations of several criminals and gangsters from his party, Mr Yadav replied, “It is a charge of a party that has made a person facing several heinous criminal cases as the Chief Minister of UP.”

“I wonder if the BJP has bought a washing machine to cleanse all its criminals and mafia elements,” he wryly said.

“There were many veteran leaders in the BJP who strengthened the party for years with their blood and sweat. Even they say at times that it was they who sweated it out for the party but don’t know where did Adityanath come from and was forced upon them,” Mr Yadav said.
