“No Question Of Getting Tired Or Stopping Now,” Narendra Modi In Paris Meet

Mumbai: It is true that in the last five years we have also given red cards to many evils from the country. Today, corruption, nepotism, familism, the loot of public money, terrorism in new India is not being done the same way,” Modi said at a community event organized at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

“There is no question of getting tired or stopping now… The government has taken many bold decisions in its first 75 days, the government has not completed 100 days yet. Normally, the first 100 days are for celebrations and congratulatory messages from people.”

He claimed that India has been moving ahead on the path of development at a rapid pace due to the “collective efforts of 130 crore Indians.”

This is the reason that once again the countrymen have supported our government by giving a more powerful mandate than before. This mandate is not just for running a government, but for building a new India,” he said.

Modi also referred to the reading down of Articles 370 and 35A of the constitution,

“There is no space for anything temporary in India anymore. It took us 70 years to remove temporarily. I do not know if I should laugh or cry about it,” he said, amidst slogans of ‘Modi, Modi’ from the audience.

Referring to his recent meeting with the French president, he said, “Nowadays we talk of 21st century infra. The alliance of ‘In’ plus ‘Fra’, that is, India and France alliance – from Solar Infra to Social Infra, from Technical Infra to Space Infra, from Digital Infra to Defense Infra, the Alliance of India and France is moving strongly.”

Modi claimed that “New India” would be about a “rich civilization and culture can be proud of the whole world, and which will also lead the 21st-century modernity. This “New India” would also focus “on Ease of Doing Business and which also ensures Ease of Living.”
