Not Going To Be Scared Of Anyone: Oppn’s VP Candidate Margaret Alva

Mumbai: Margaret Alva, the Opposition’s candidate for Vice President elections, on Monday said in politics, winning or losing is not the issue, fighting the battle is.

She also thanked the opposition parties for trusting her. Alva further said that she will fight NDA’s campaign for Jagdeep Dhankhar and she is ‘not afraid of anyone.

“I know it’s a difficult battle, but in politics, winning and losing is not the issue, the issue is fighting the battle…I thank all the leaders for the trust they have reposed in me,” Margaret Alva told reporters.

Margaret Alva further noted that she will file her nomination on July 19. “I will file the nomination tomorrow and will fight their (NDA’s) campaign (for VP candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar)…I am not going to be scared of anyone,” she said.

Margaret Alva also attended a meeting of the Opposition leader today.
