PM Modi Assures Support To AAP In Punjab, Kejriwal Says ‘Thank You, Sir’

Mumbai: Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Twitter for its victory in Punjab Assembly elections, AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said, “Thank you, sir.”

“I would like to congratulate AAP for their victory in the Punjab elections. I assure all possible support from the Centre for Punjab’s welfare. @AamAadmiParty,” the prime minister wrote on Twitter.

In response, Arvind Kejriwal responded, “Thank you, sir”.

The Election Commission has declared the final results of the Punjab Assembly elections in which AAP emerged as the winner with 92 out of 117 assembly seats.

Notably, Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab CM candidate Bhagwant Mann has won from Dhuri seat by defeating Congress leader Dalveer Singh Goldy.
