PMLA Court Sends Nawab Malik To Judicial Custody In Money Laundering Case

Mumbai: NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik were sent to judicial custody by a special PMLA court on Monday in the Dawood Ibrahim money laundering case. He was in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate since February 23.

Before Malik was produced in court, he was taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai for a medical checkup.

Earlier in February, the ED had raided the residence of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in Mumbai in connection with a money laundering case.

ANI Sources said that the ED raided several places in Mumbai related to the underworld.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded the resignation of Malik but the Maha Vikas Agadhi (MV), comprising Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP, has rejected the demand.
