Pune : Madhu Chopra responded on the hilarious statements made by The Cut in their article for describing the marriage of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra.
Undoubtedly the most interesting and famous couple recently Priyanka and Nick married each other in two beautiful ceremonies, Catholic and Hindu at Delhi and Jodhpur Respectfully representing both of their cultures.
While one of the news article published by The Cut mentioned their relationship to be “fraudulent” and “fake”. As the couple shined in lovely outfits on their wedding day on 2nd December, it was after few days from this event when the article gained eyes. The article not only called Priyanka “global scam artist” but also mentioned that her marriage from Nick Jonas is “against his will”. This circulation encountered a lot of heat against the article worldwide slamming their “racist and sexist” content. This led to the publication deleting the article for which they tweeted to apologise, “An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologize.”
Priyanka’s Mother Madhu Chopra talked about this in an interview of Mid Day where in, she stated, “It is a happy phase for our family, and we don’t want to be disturbed by such idiotic things. I am happy that my daughter is married to someone she truly loves. I don’t want to give publicity to those fools. There are some donkeys who do anything they feel like, but their actions don’t affect us.”
