Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Slapped By A Man At Public Event

Mumbai :  Union Minister of the state Ramdas Athawale was slapped by man in an public event at Ambernath town.

The incident took place at Saturday night as Athawale came down after public meeting, the accused rushed towards him and pushed and slapped him, said officials.

The accused has been identified as Pravin Gosavi, later he was beaten up by Athwale’s supporters and Athawale’s personal bodyguards out there.

While the accused has been shifted to the J J hospital in Mumbai after receiving early treatment at Ambernath.

However, after moving a little bit from the incident, the minister soon went to Mumbai, while the attacker was detained by the police for investigation. The motive behind the attack is still unknown, as investigation is under process.
