Mumbai: Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and he will “rule the country”.

He further claimed that the ‘G23’, a group of Congress leaders demanding structural changes in the party, has gone and the entire party is united.

Following the party’s ‘Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir‘ in Udaipur, Rajasthan, DK Shivakumar said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will contest the election (2024). Whatever the election authority has already announced the schedule, we are in the process and he (Rahul Gandhi) will rule the country.”

“We all are confident that Congress will come back under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. That is the later stage, G23 has gone, the entire party is united, and we all are one (on G23 push for the parliamentary board),” he added.
