Rajkumar Rao’s Father Satyapal Yadav Passes Away At 60

Mumbai: Satyapal Yadav, father of Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao, died on Thursday night i.e. 5 September at the age of 60. Being unwell for a long time, Satyapal was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for the last 17 days.

His last rites were performed today (Friday) at 10 am in the presence of close family members and friends at the Madan Puri crematorium.

Rajkumar’s father was employed in the revenue department and was a government employee. Earlier, talking about the difficulties he faced during childhood, Rajkumar told The Indian Express, “For two years, my teachers paid my school fees. But nobody discouraged me from pursuing my dream.”

His mother had passed away in 2017, sharing the same saying, “I returned in a day because I knew that my mother allowed me to fulfil my commitments, tasks and my duties I must have loved. My greatest joy in life was to see me on screen. It was hard for me to perform, but I felt that his presence supported me.”

At Work Front, Rajkumar Rao will be seen working with Priyanka Chopra for a Netflix film titled The White Tiger. The announcement was made by Ramin Bahrani, who is directing the film based on Arvind Adiga’s award-winning book by the same name. Both Priyanka and Rajkumar will take the film’s heading and shooting will start by the end of this year.
