Chandrayaan 2 An attempt To Divert Attention From Economic Disaster” Mamata Banerjee

Mumbai: Attacking over ruling party NDA, TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee said that NDA government was trying to use the Moon mission to divert attention from the current economic situation.

Speaking in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Mamata said, “As the Chandrayaan launch is the first in the country… As before coming to power, no such mission was taken. It is an attempt to divert attention from economic disaster.

She said, “All the pillars of democracy – media, judiciary – are all run by central advisors. The names of genuine Indians are excluded from the NRC list. I echo the words of Dr Manmohan Singh, of political vendetta.” Focuses more on the economy than it does.”

Tonight is an important night for India’s second mission to the moon, Chandrayaan 2. Vikram Lander, which split from Chandrayaan 2 earlier this month, will attempt a soft landing on the lunar surface between 1.30 and 2.30 on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi took to Twitter to urge all to watch the historic event.

“I urge you all to watch the special moments of Chandrayaan – 2 descending on to the Lunar South Pole! Do share your photos on social media. I will re-tweet some of them too,” he wrote.

Along with over 60 high school children from across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will watch the event at the ISRO centre around midnight.
