Ranveer Singh Unveils ’83’ Character Poster Featuring Saqib Saleem As Mohinder Amarnath
Helmed by Kabir Khan, the movie is slated for release on April 10
Mumbai: Ranveer Singh, who will next appear in the sports drama ’83’, on Monday unveiled another character poster of the flick featuring Saqib Saleem as Mohammad Amarnath.
The actor took to Twitter to shared the poster which has Saqib posing as ace batsman Mohinder Amarnath.
He captioned the post as “Courage of a Lion. Nerves of Steel.The Indomitable Comeback King of India. Presenting @saqibsaleem as MOHINDER ‘JIMMY’ AMARNATH ”

In the poster, Saqib can be seen with the intense look of the batsman as he plays a shot.
Over the weekend, Ranveer has released two character posters of the film, the first one featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar. In the second character poster, Ziva is seen as the top scorer in the final match of the 1983 World Cup against K Srikkanth in the West Indies.
Ranveer essays his role in the film, based on Kapil Dev, the former captain of the World Cup-winning team. It also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role along with Ranveer Singh.
The movie also features R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk, and Saahil Khattar as the Men in Blue.
Helmed by Kabir Khan, the movie is slated for release on April 10.
