Sairat Actress Rinku Rajguru Clears Class 12 With 82 Per Cent
Mumbai: Sairat lead actor Prerana alias Rinku Rajguru secured 82 percent marks in the Arts category and cleared her 12th board exams.
Actor achieved 533 out of a total of 650, his father Mahadev Rajguru told PTI from Solapur.
Rinku Rajguru had attended a center in her native Solapur district for the examination held in February-March this year. In the 10th class, Rinku secured 66% marks.
Rinku starred in film ‘Sairat’ which became highest-grossing Marathi film of all time.
Directed by Nagraj Manjule, this film tells the story of two young students of different castes, who fall in love between their families.
Rajguru received the National Film Award – Special Note at the 63rd National Film Awards
Sairat received 11 awards in the 2017 Filmfare Marathi Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (Manjula), Best Actress (Rajguru) and Best Music Album. Rajguru and Thosar win Best Debut in Female and Men category.
Total box-office collection of the film was 110 Crore.
