Sameer Wankhede’s Wife Files Complaint Over Screenshots Of ‘Chat’ Shared By Malik

In the chats, Redkar is allegedly seen promising a reward to the user, who claims to have a photograph of Malik and Dawood

Mumbai: Kranti Redkar Wankhede, wife of NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede on Tuesday filed an online complaint with Mumbai Police against Maharastra Minister Nawab Malik over the screenshots of some WhatsApp chats tweeted by him.

In her complaint, she stated that a fake Twitter handle was created under her name. He used Kranti’s photo as a profile photo and created a fake chat, she said.

The screenshot of these said fake chats has been tweeted by Nawab Malik from his Twitter handle without verifying. In the chats, Redkar is allegedly seen promising a reward to the user, who claims to have a photograph of Malik and one ‘Dawood’ who seemingly is underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim.

A person in the tweet wrote, “Madam Kranti, I have strong evidence of the connection of Dawood and Nawab, please DM.” In response to this, Kranti wrote – “What kind of evidence is your money.”

The person again wrote- “I have the photo of Nawab Malik and Dawood.” To which Kranti replied-“Please send, you will get a reward for this.”

Earlier in the day, Kranti Redkar Wankhede had taken it to Twitter and called the chats fake.

In response to Malik’s tweet, she wrote – “This chat is wrongly created and completely fake. I have not had any such conversation with anyone. Once again posted without verification. Mumbai Cyber Crime Cell I am filing a complaint. Don’t worry supporters, this is not our culture or our language too.”

The minister later clarified that the chats were fake by tweeting, “What a Joke, I received this morning. Enjoy… Have a nice day everyone.”
