Security Of People Above Dabangg 3 Box Office Collection: Salman Khan

Mumbai: Salman Khan starter Dabangg 3 is still doing good as the film has crossed 100cr mark within its 5 days of release.

This comes even after some parts of our country are facing section 144 over an ongoing protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

However, the actor said that it was notable that the film performed well in ‘such troubled times’. Dabangg 3 has lost a significant part of its potential business in many parts of India

Countrywide protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) have significantly hampered Salman Khan’s 2019 Christmas offering, Dabangg 3’s business. However, the superstar is shocked by the film’s loss and feels that he has done “well” at the box office and says it is “remarkable”.

In an interview, Salman said, “In such troubled times, it is remarkable to do well [for the film]. All the credit goes to the fans. And the fans have been very loyal to me and they went to [watch the film] Are. In North India, Section 144 was imposed, so they have not come to collections. But they will go and watch the film. Salman said apart from being Chulbul Pandey’s back story, the latest installment touches upon various social issues and that makes it a special film.

“We have touched upon so many things like child marriage, dowry, water conservation. The whole film is on this plot that if you love someone but if they don’t, then will you rape them, throw acid or kill them?”

Dabangg 3, the third installment of the Dabangg franchise, sees Salman returning as the naughty cop Chulbul Pandey. The film also features Sonakshi Sinha as Khan’s wife (Rajjo) and some new faces like Kichcha Sudeepa as the antagonist and debutante Saiee Manjrekar as the love interest of Chulbul’s younger avatar.
