Siddharth Malhotra And Tara Sutaria Starrer Marjaavaan Box Office Collection Day 1
Mumbai: Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria starrer Marjaavaan have kicked off its box journey with the collection of Rs 7.30 crore on Friday. The Milap Zaveri directorial is a romantic drama which also stars Ritesh Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh.
According to a report, the film has collected approximately Rs 6.50-7 crore nett on day one. Despite mixed reviews ‘Marjaavaan’ seems to have struck a chord with the audience. The report stated that the film received a positive response in Maharashtra, Gujarat, CP Berar, Nizam, UP and Bihar.
Trade analyst shared on Twitter, “#Marjaavaan posts respectable numbers on Day 1… Mass circuits / single screens very good, contribute to the total… Metro multiplexes are ordinary… Multiplexes of Tier-2 + Tier-3 cities are good… Should witness growth on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 7.03 cr [2922 screens].”
Marjaavaan clashed with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty’s Motichoor Chaknachoor at the box office and is also running parallel to Bala in theatres. Speaking of Bala, the film is now inching towards the Rs 100-crore mark in its second week. Bala made a total collection of Rs 76 crore till Friday and has become the biggest opener of Ayushmann Khurrana’s career after Dream Girl.
Coming back to Marjaavaan, the coming days will decide the fate of the film at the ticket windows.
