Singer Jasmine Sandlas Receives Death Threats Hours Ahead Of Her Delhi Concert

Mumbai: Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas on Saturday received death threats from people allegedly associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. According to reports, Jasmine, who stays in the US, had arrived in Delhi for her concert and as soon as she landed at the airport, she started to receive death threats from international phone numbers

The singer was supposedly told she would be attacked at her concert today, according to the police, who also made this claim. Since then, Jasmine has received security protection from the Delhi police, who have also reinforced security. Jasmine Sandlas has not yet responded.

Jasmine, a Punjabi native, rose to fame with her debut track, Muskan, off the album The Diamond. She has also performed Baby Besharm from the 2017 movie Naam Shabana starring Akshay Kumar and Illegal Weapon 2.0 from the 2020 film Street Dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan.

Sidhu Moosewala, a Punjabi singer, was shot dead in his car on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa, and Lawrence Bishnoi has been charged with his murder.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently looking into a narcotics smuggling case that the criminal is currently serving time for in Ahmedabad.

Lawrence had already threatened Salman Khan in addition to Jasmine. He claimed that by killing a blackbuck, the actor degraded the Bishnoi community.
