Mumbai: Sushmita Sen took to social media to announce her return to the big screen. The actress was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s No Problem in 2010. Crediting her fans for her return, the former Miss Universe said that her fans encouraged her to do films again.
Sharing a picture of herself, where she is seen standing near her window at her home, she wrote, “I have always been in awe of the love that knows patience!! This alone makes me a fan of my fans!! They have waited 10 long years for my return to the Screen, lovingly encouraging me every step of the way throughout my hiatus… unconditionally!!! I RETURN JUST FOR YOU!!!!! (sic).”

Earlier Sushmita Sen shared three pictures of herself hinting at her comeback on the big screen. She wrote, “Makeup, hair, lights & that mirror made of antique glass. ROUND TWO…I prep for my return to class!!!#sharing #reflections #emotions #backtobasics #duggadugga I love you guys!!!!”

In January, when news agency PTI asked her if she had plans to take up film projects any time soon, Sushmita said, “I have to wait for the right thing.”
Sushmita Sen took a break from films to take care of her younger daughter Alisah Sen. In a recent interview, she said, “It’s not just seeing their first step or first word, that I missed out for Renee. It’s their personality development, to witness who they are becoming. I did not sponsor a child. I became a mother. There is a very big difference.”
Sushmita Sen has announced her return to films, however, she didn’t reveal the project she is making her comeback with.
