TMC Men Looted Congress Workers Houses In Broad Daylight: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury Writes To Banerjee

Mumbai: Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Thursday wrote to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressing concern over the atrocities on Trinamool Congress workers in Murshidabad.

Chowdhury said in the letter that he would like to draw Banerjee’s attention to some of the atrocities committed by TMC workers, who “ruined and looted” the houses of Congress party workers in broad daylight on September 2.

“I would like to draw your attention to the violence and atrocities committed by the workers of the ruling party in broad daylight, when the houses of Congress party workers were vandalised and looted much to the concerned of us.”

According to the Congress MP, Banerjee would be surprised to know that the local police administration has witnessed incidents of looting and violence. Chaudhary said that it is necessary that these miscreants are dealt with immediately.

He said, ‘You will be surprised to know that the entire looting and violence took place under the glare of the local police administration. In this situation prevailing in that area, immediate administrative action has been demanded against these miscreants,” he added.

Chowdhury underlined that it is essential that Mamata Banerjee intervenes in this matter in order to guarantee justice for the victims and stem the deteriorating law and order situation in the particular area.

“You are requested to intervene in this matter in order to stem the deteriorating law and order situation in a particular area and ensure justice to those victims as well,’ he added further.
