Unnao Rape Case: Delhi Court To Announce Verdict In Case Involving Kuldeep Singh Sengar On Dec 16

Mumbai: Unnao rape case the court reserved a verdict for 16 Dec in which, the expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar charged for alleged rape and sexual assault of women in Uttar Pradesh, Unnao in 2017.

The judgment will be pronounced by District Judge Dharmesh Sharma. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had completed its arguments in the case on Monday.

As per reports, if the blame is proved on Kuldeep Singh Sengar, then he can be sentenced to life imprisonment.

MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, accused in the Unnao rape case is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. In 2017, the Tis Hazari court had framed charges against MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the rape of a minor girl in Unnao in 2017. In the same way, there are many more.

The District Judge had also set charges against Sengar’s partner Shashi Singh in the case of the kidnapping of the girl. There are 5 FIRs registered in this whole case. Let us tell you that after the rapes in recent days, there is outrage across the country and the public is demanding that the accused be punished as soon as possible.

Recording of defence witnesses’ statements was concluded in in-camera proceedings on December 2. The CBI had booked Sengar and nine others for the murder after the rape survivor’s family alleged foul play.
