Mumbai: Former External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday, she was suffered from Cardiac arrest.

Swaraj took her last breath at AIIMS around 10.00 pm.

Many political leaders arrived to pay tribute President Ramnath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu paid condolences at Delhi residence.

Her body was taken to her Delhi residence later in the night and will be kept for three hours at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday for people to pay tributes. The last rites will take place at the Lodhi Crematorium

Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi got emotional while paying tribute to Swaraj. A visibly overwhelmed PM Modi also consoled the family members of Swaraj.

The prime minister would attend her funeral in the evening, sources told news agency PTI.
