Mumbai: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan praised PM Narendra Modi stating that the “willpower and resolve” shown has today made him the “tallest leader of India in the last 500 years”.
His statement comes on the occasion of ‘Bhoomi pujan’ for the Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.
ANI quoted Shivraj Singh Chouhan saying, “The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya today. The ‘Mahayagya’, which began 500 years ago, is ending today. The willpower and resolve shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have today made him the tallest leader of India in the last 500 years.”

Earlier in the day, Chauhan was discharged from Viva Hospital in Bhopal after recovering from COVID-19. He tested positive for the disease on 25 July. The hospital has advised them to isolate themselves at home and monitor their health for 7 days.
The much-awaited foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will take place with much fanfare.
Prime Minister Modi will unveil a plaque to lay the foundation stone and will also issue a commemorative postage stamp on the ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple’.
