110 More COVID-19 Cases In Delhi, Tally Rises To 2003

Mumbai: Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Monday that the total number of coronaviruses in the city had increased to 2003 with 110 more cases of COVID-19 from the national capital.

“There were test reports for 2054 individuals, 110 of which were COVID-19 positive. Of the total individuals, 1,283 individuals who tested positive are under 50. There are 320 people between the age of 50-60. 386 patients are above the age of 60,” Jain said.

He said, “There have been 45 deaths, of which 25 were above the age of 60. While 38 died with a serious illness.”

He said, “Rapid tests will begin in Delhi from today. These tests will be done on the basis of guidelines issued by the centre. Rapid tests will start from hotspots or content zones.”

A total of 17,265 confirmed deaths including 543 deaths in India. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that 2,547 people, who were COVID-19 positive, have been recovered or escaped.
