14,348 COVID-19 Cases, 805 Deaths Reported In India In Last 24 Hours

India Sees Its Biggest Ever One-Day Jump In COVID-19 Cases As 1.45 Lakh Test +ve

Mumbai: According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India registered 14,348 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, 11% lower than yesterday.

As many as 805 deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, increasing the total death count to 4,57,191.

With fresh cases, the country’s overall caseload has now mounted to 3,42,46,157, while the active caseload stood at 1,61,334.

. Active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases, currently at 0.47 per cent, the lowest since March 2020.

The country also recorded 13,198 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery rate to 98.19 per cent. India has conducted over 60.58 crore COVID-19 tests so far.

Meanwhile, under the nationwide immunization drive, more than 104.82 crore vaccine doses have been given so far.
