16 Students Of School In Navi Mumbai Found Infected With COVID-19
Mumbai: The civil administration of Ghansoli will test around 600 of the school on Saturday after a total of 16 students of Shetkari Shikshan Sansthan School and Junior College in Ghansoli were found positive with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the civic body has started contact tracing of all the people who came in contact with these students.
“So far, 16 students were found positive with Covid-19 and they are all from the same school,” said an official from the civic health department.
It is learned that these students had come in contact with a person who had recently come from another country. However, on getting tested, the person tested negative for Covid-19.
On Friday, a total of 44 persons were found to be COVID positive, out of which 17 persons including 16 students were from Ghansoli. There are currently 355 active cases in the NMMC area.
